I am Singaporean and citizen of the world. There are many versions of truth in this era of spin and manipulation. There is the truth and there are numerous half-truths with several crossing into lies. I hope my contributions will add to the pool of ready information on the internet, not to confuse, but to provide more facts and views to help more people discern between what is true and what seems true.

I have been inspired by the many brave voices who have come out to speak out for their country including in Singapore. And I have been moved by the saying “If not now, then when? If not me, then who?”.

I believe in the right to a voice for everyone. No one should be suppressed nor manipulated to become puppets serving any elite group’s purpose. The name of my blog is a pun on several fronts including the word petrified to indicate how I, like other citizens of the world, have been jolted and awakened to the national and global issues that matter. We are moving from being petrified of speaking up to finding our voice and courage to speak up. For me, I have moved from being petrified to Jentrified, an improved and better citizen who can hopefully help make a difference for a better world.

Rainbows are beautiful and represent hope and optimism. It is with this in mind that I blog:)
