Check out this Singapore Hall of Shame blog post on the guerilla tactics employed by PAP fanatics to defend their beloved party ….http://sporehallofshame.blogspot.sg/2012/11/inside-world-of-pap-internet-brigade.html
This is intriguing stuff …these internet guerillas are waging a shifty war on those who criticise their idols. Watch out peeps and bloggers for this new group of ISD – Internet Snoopers and Defenders of PAP.
Maybe this is one reason why the PAP is suddenly saying it’s ok to post anonymously online when not so long ago, they were practically condemning Singaporeans who did so.
Coincidentally, there is another expose by China’s activist Ah Wei who wrote about his interview with one of the paid undercover “ISD” commentators in China. Seems there is a brigade of commentators hired by the Chinese government or the Communist Party of China to post comments favourable towards party policies and to shape public opinion on internet message boards and forums. The commentators are known as the 50-Cent Party, as they are said to be paid 50 cents for every post that steers a discussion away from anti-party content or that advances the Communist Party line.
Wonder who learned from who on this insidious strategy…the CPC or the PAP. Or maybe they exchanged ideas since they are mutual admirers?
